VISITING

Visiting a new church can be uncomfortable and intimidating. We hope that knowing what to expect at Regen will help to minimize any anxiety. So, here are answers to some common questions.

 

WHAT IS THE SUNDAY SERVICE LIKE?

Our service will be about 90 minutes long. Singing, Bible study and prayer are the main elements. For more information, click on “What We Do” and then select “Sunday Meeting”.

 

WHAT IS THE FACILITY LIKE?

We meet in the cafeteria/auditorium of the school. When you come in the door you will be in the back of the room. You will see our Welcome Center, book table, seating area and stage. Restrooms, water fountains and the Regen Kids room (grades 1-6) will be out the doors forward and to your left. Younger children’s rooms are across the seating area and to the right.

 

HOW MANY PEOPLE ATTEND AND WHO ARE THEY?

We currently average almost 70 in total attendance. About 25 of those are children 6th grade and younger. Our adults cover the range from young singles to retired couples. They include farmers, housewives, policemen, salesmen, nurses, educators, students and more.

 

WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR MY CHILDREN?

We have an Infant/Walkers room for children birth through 2 years and a Preschool class for children 3 to five years old that are available throughout the service. Regen Kids – for 1st through 6th graders – meets after the Five Minute Break that follows  the musical worship portion of the main service. All children’s workers are screened, background checked and trained. For more information, click on “What We Do” and then select “Children”.

 

HOW SHOULD I DRESS?

Comfortable and casual is fine with us. You won’t see a lot of suits and ties here. Pastor Jeff usually preaches in nice jeans and a button up shirt. Out of respect for God, the church and each other, we do encourage neatness and modesty.

 

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AS A VISITOR?

When it comes time for our announcements, we will ask any first timers to raise their hand. All we want to do is welcome you and hand you an Information Card about Regen and a Contact Card for you to fill out and turn in. If you turn in the Contact Card you will receive a postcard in the mail thanking you for visiting. That’s it – unless you indicate that you want further contact and/or information.

 

HOW DO I FIND THE CHURCH?

We meet at Estes Elementary School in Marana. You can find the address, directions and a map under “Who we are” by selecting “Location.”
