Jeff Purcell

Pastor

Jeff served as Youth Pastor and then as Associate Pastor for nearly twenty years at Faith Community Church before leaving to lead Regeneration. He was born and raised in Tucson, graduated from Salpointe high school and attended the University of Arizona. After two years of Bible College in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he returned to Tucson in 1987. He has been married to his wife Cynthia – a graduate of Canyon del Oro high school – since 1989. She has always assisted Jeff in ministry and is currently a lead teacher in our children’s ministry. They have four children – two of which they adopted in 2008.  They also serve as foster parents.

Jason Nelsestuen

Associate Pastor

Jason oversees all of our children’s classes and leads the music ministry. He also assists with other pastoral duties. Before helping to launch Regeneration, Jason had served for seven years as a Children’s Minister and led both young adult and married couple’s ministries. He was born in Clinton, Oklahoma and attended Bible College in Tulsa – graduating in 1991. He works in internet auto sales. His wife, Royce, served in ministry with Jason and is currently the Principal of Faith Community Academy and serving in our nursery. They have been married since 1994 and have four children – all boys.
